Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q) Can I buy a 1-off coaching session or do I need a package?

A) A six-session package is a great way to make real progress when working with Helen as your coach. While a one-off session can be a super way to start noticing themes and patterns, and begin to explore different courses of action, it is generally too short a time to get to know one another and effect significant change. That said, Helen is offering a special one-off session to clients in November 2026, so do ask about that, as it’s a brilliant opportunity to experience coaching without the commitment of a full package.

Q) Can I book a free Discovery Call with Helen Jane Campbell?

A) Yes, it’s always free to book a 15-min Discovery Call and this is available to potential clients in the UK and overseas too. It’s easy to book a free coaching Discovery Call on Helen’s website or do email her if you would like help booking your Zoom session. If you happen to live near Hay-on-Wye in Wales you may be able to have your session in-person, so do email Helen about that if face-to-face is your preferred option.

Q) What sort of issues can 1-2-1 coaching help with?

A) Helen’s 1-2-1 coaching is aimed at creative founders, freelancers and also employees of agencies and organisations who work in creative roles (such as marketing, PR, photography, film-making, illustration and more). Helen’s coaching can help with confidence; overwhelm; managing workload; career progression; growing your team; creative ideas generation; interviews or conversations about promotion; work/life balance; goal-setting; personal development; developing leadership skills and much more.

Q) What sort of clients are a good fit for Helen’s coaching?

A) Helen Jane Campbell spent almost 20 years int he PR industry before becoming a full-time coach. So employees of PR agencies; PR teams and also PR freelancers and consultants are a great fit for Helen’s coaching as she knows your world. Helen works with creative people in a variety of different disciplines, including: artists; writers; actors; presenters; dancers and more. She is also member of Proud Wellness and co-founded the first ever Pride in Hay-on-Wye, and Helen’s coaching is LGBTQ+ affirming.

Q) Are half-hour coaching sessions available as well as 1-hour sessions?

Yes, Helen offers packages of 30-min sessions. These are great for clients who’ve already had coaching and want to check in from time-to-time or where there is already a lot of clarity about the client’s goals and next steps, for example perhaps a client wants regular accountability and has already done a lot of groundwork and self-development. Helen is keen to build the right coaching package for you, so do ask her about what options may be available to you.
