If being around other writers and authors-to-be feels motivating, you’ll adore the writing hours and author Q & As on our writing retreat in Hay Castle Hay-on-Wye.
Late February is a superb time to visit Hay, a scenic market town on the banks of a stunning river and surrounded by beautiful countryside, mountains and hilltops. The fields will still be glistening with morning frost while snowdrops and crocuses will be appearing. It’s a magical time to be here and write.
During your two-day retreat (which you can always extend in to a long weekend mini break if you wish) you’ll meet expert authors as well as the other authors-to-be in your own cohort. We can help you find accommodation, and answer questions you may have about logistics.

We’ll have a wellbeing activity too, such as movement is medicine or yoga, at the start of day two.
